PROJECT PRESENTATION

Invasive exotic mammals pose a significant threat to island ecosystems, endangering many endemic species. The CIMBA project aims to scientifically assess the impact of these species and develop appropriate strategies to limit their proliferation, in partnership with local and regional stakeholders.

UNDERSTAND

Analysis of the spatial distribution, abundance and impact on local biodiversity of exotic predatory mammals

ACT

Conducting, evaluating and optimizing actions to limit the impact of exotic mammals within protected areas

COOPERATE

Coordination of the network of actors and strengthening of surveillance

SENSITIZE

Implementation of an information and awareness campaign for the general public
